Все государства тратят немалые средства на борьбу с наркомафией. Задерживают и изымают тонны наркотиков, но объемы их продаж по прежнему исчисляются десятками, сотнями тонн. Эффективность такой борьбы очень мала.
Может стоит объединить все финансовые потоки и официально скупать все производимые наркотики для последующего уничтожения?

Cannabis (marijuana) is considered as an illicit drug but on the other hand it is the opposite for tobacco. According to WHO, there is an estimated 1.3 billion tobacco smokers worldwide and smoking is linked to 5 out of 10 leading causes of deaths worldwide. According to WHO, there are 6,000,000 deaths a year caused by tobacco smoking worldwide including the second-hand smokers, and the use of cannabis (marijuana) causes 250,000 deaths a year worldwide. In that case, isn’t it the right time to think and consider tobacco as an illicit drug just like the cannabis (marijuana)? Aren’t there any plans of putting a stop on the tobacco industry?

I know a lot of people that smoke weed. Some have been in trouble for it and others have gotten away with it. All say its not addicting and I agree that it may not be as addicting as harder drugs. Though, I have seen all of them spend the last of their money just so they can smoke. Some smoke everyday but say they don't need it and still do it anyway. Do you feel weed is as addicting, less addicting, or not addictive like the harder drugs are?

As a chronic pain patient that does not abuse medication, I always wonder why there are no 'safe-guards' put in place to ensure that the patient is not abusing the drugs or selling them to others.
Legitimate pain patients such as I would not object to regular blood tests to determine whether or not the patient is actually taking their medication as scripted. Another option is unannounced pill counting to make sure they are not selling them and are taking only the amount they should be. I realize this would only help in the case of prescribed medication however, it is a huge problem all around the world & needs to be addressed.
Why are there not such things being done? Do you have any other ideas on how to control the flow of prescription medication and abuse other than the above examples?

Путь к просветлению сейчас воспринимается во многом не как следование каким-то моральным догмам, а как достижение запредельного, высокого, нереального.
И многие выбирают наркотик, как путь открытия в себе новых горизонтов - в том числе духовных и "энергетических". Действительно ли наркотик может помочь на этом пути? И если нет, то почему мировые религии так мало говорят об этом и скорее готовы "принять оступившихся", чем изначально остановить ошибочный поиск?
