China's largest religious organization was founded in 1957 as the central organization of the Chinese Taoists. At the time of the so-called "cultural revolution" it was closed and began function again only in 1980. The Chairman of this organization is well known Chinese religious and social activist Ren Fazhun.
Taoism teaches that to live in accordance with the Tao one as to follow the flow of life, not resisting it.
