New movie on methamphetamine dependence

Cameron Crowe, known for "Almost Famous" film  has  recently sold the rights  for the  romantic comedy with  the actress Emma Stone to Sony studio and is planning to srceen "Good boy» (Beautiful Boy) novel by David Sheff.

The movie will be about the family struggling  with  son’s addiction to methamphetamine. Crowe will be not only director, by also a script writer. He has already promised to add to this film elements from another romance written by the “good boy” ( Nick Sheff).

Paramount Pictures has already been trying to screen "Good boy» for four years tried to film with Stephen Zaillian as a writer.  However the project moved forward only after the studio and director were changed.
