In Bordentown , Limestone County, coast police seized major shipments of precursors that could have been used for the manufacture of 15,000 amphetamine tablets. Arrested suspect is known for being involved in “Outlaw bikers” gang.
After the series of police raids in the Bordertown area , 39-year-old resident of the city was arrested on charges of possession of chemicals and equipment for the production of drugs.According to the chief of the police of the Limestone district, this operation was the largest one. Police has found five liters of benzaldehyde, and a large number of methylamine and four styrenes.
Overall five people were arrested for the possession of chemicals and equipment used for cannabis smoking.
Investigation is in progress. Police assumes that all detainees are members of the bikers’ gang. All seized drugs are sent to Adelaide city for examination. Arrested resident will face the court October 26th of this year in Bordertown
Further raids cover Keith, Bordertown and Narakurt districts. Operations are supported by the regional branch of the Office for the fight against organized drug crime.
