Recently the ITAR-TASS News agency quoted a news item published in the Chinese daily newspaper Huanqiu Shibao describing an incident taking place in the city of Changzhou of Jiangsu province, Eastern China.
Police arrived on call of anxious citizens who had said that their relative Cao, a drug user of 34, in an access of fury smashes everything around. The hell-raiser was caught; policemen pinned his arms to his sides and seated him into a police car.
On their way to a hospital the detainee endured a repeated bout. During the fit he managed to get out of the car and run away. A policeman patrolling the district managed to stop him, but he suffered most of all. When he knocked down the drug user and tried to policemen pin his arms to his sides, the detainee bit off a part of the policeman’s finger and swallowed it.
The outcome of the story was sad for the brave policeman. After lingering torment doctors managed to extract his finger out of the criminal’s stomach, but it was so severely damaged that it was impossible to sew the finger back.
