Five Japanese drug dealers earned $7 million dollars for six months

On Tuesday, 21 August, police of prefecture Fukuoka initiated a criminal case against five detainees suspected of drug trade in extremely large amount and defying the law about the control of stimulants.

According to officials, the investigation has revealed that the suspects were involved into drug distribution from October 2011 to April 2012. For this period, they managed to sell over $7 million worth of drugs.

The spokesperson of the Drug Control Directorate of Kusu Health Department said that the criminals used to look for their clients at the 2channel popular forum, and they used to sell stimuli to the users of the site from 26 prefectures.

Besides, the suspects are charged with money laundering. For the period, they managed to transfer over 5.6 million yens to various accounts, including the ones of bogus firms.

Most probably, the suspects are to face life sentences.
