Another drug related crime is solved in the Spanish city of Malaga. The drug mules managed to go unnoticed thanks to a peculiar way of drug delivery from the airport.
The first phase of the delivery was a typical one – the criminals used to carry drugs in hiding places within their luggage onto the board of the plane at a Venezuelan airport, then they went to Malaga undisturbedly. However, as soon as they arrived at point of destination, they resorted to cunning. Their decoy guaranteed their security even in the case if they were disclosed.
When the criminals left the airport, they didn’t take their luggage with them, but left it in the airport as lost luggage. Then they went to hotel and demanded unsuspecting airport assistants to deliver their suitcases to their room. However the seemingly reliable scheme failed.
After long surveillance, when several officers were planted into the gang, Spanish drug police managed to catch the drug dealers red-handed. 8 people were arrested. A large drug consignment and a car with hermetically sealed false bottom holding the smell (the pushers used it for further drug transportation) were intercepted.
