An American schoolboy set up a large drug supply chain

30.07.2012

Police of Ohio arrested a 17-year-old high school student who used to sell marijuana to his classmates.

He was one of the 7 detained drug dealers which arranged a drug supply chain in the city of Cincinnati, Ohio (USA). During the raids, and 600 plants valued at more than $3 million were seized.

According to the police, all seven detainees (aged 20-58 years old) grew cannabis and sold it to the arrested schoolboy, who, in his turn, resold it to his peers using a well-run system which included six other high school students.

“He clearly had a high level of intelligence but it was very misguided. He set up a large drug supply chain in his 17,” Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell said.

It’s noteworthy that the detainee was only 15 by the moment, when the police started working on the investigation of the group’s activity.
