During a test purchasing operation in Saint Petersburg, police arrested two criminals who commercialized production of psychotropic substances following the instructions they had found in social networks, while they were attempting to push drugs.
In June 2011, the detainees arranged an underground laboratory to produce amphetamine-based narcotic blend in a private apartment in Saint Petersburg. They found the information about the technology of the substance’ production at a popular network resource “V Kontakte”. It was posted by a person or people unknown. They bought necessary glassware, equipment and chemicals and kick-started their production. However, their drug industry attempt was a failure. The customer was an undercover detective. During the search in the lab the police found and expropriated the rest sale weight of drugs.
The criminal case against the unlucky chemists will be judged by Krasnoselsky area court of Saint Petersburg.
