The Federal Security Service of the Russian federation sustained a staged operation directed to detection and arrest of a group of smugglers who supplied synthetic drugs from China. According to ITAR-TASS News agency, the drugs were sold wholesale through an online shop. “During the process of collection of evidence we recorded the preparations of the criminal group members for sale of 20 extremely large consignments of drugs,” the FSC spokesperson said. The total amount of the drugs withdrawn from illegal drug trade is more than 6.5 kg. Criminal charges are pressed against 24 people, 20 criminal cases are initiated and are being investigated.
