Doctors tend not to talk about "recovered drug addicts," and prefer the term "inactive addicts" those who dont use drugs right at given moment. In your opinion, is it not possible to get rid of this label? Even in the opinion of drug treatment experts, patients remain forever addicted. How can the modern society be taught to have an adequate attitude toward former drug addicts and consider them as a part of the society?
I agree with the statement that drug addict is a potential criminal who tends to consume and distribute drugs. However the offence only must be followed by punishment if it is proved. If the person did nothing illegal, then he needs help. I see the possible exit in rehabilitation and socialization of former drug addicts. The physical addiction is a scary thing. There is always a risk that people will return to their habits again and again. We should treat ex-addicts more adequately to help them to integrate into the society.

In you opinion how important is parental education and relationships within the family in preventing drug addiction?
Family is certainly important to all of us, but I don’t think it can really help in treatment of a drug addict. People who use drugs cannot evaluate full support of loved ones adequately. They constantly find themselves in the state of self-destruction, and besides that they bring unintentional harm to their families.
