Alejandro Sanz
Spanish singer-songwriter and musician. For his work, Sanz has won a total of fifteen Latin Grammy Awards and three Grammy Awards. He has won the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year three times, more than any other artist. Throughout his career, he has released a total of ten studio albums and six DVDs. The singer is noted for his flamenco-influenced ballads, but he has also experimented with rock, salsa, and hip hop.

In you opinion how important is parental education and relationships within the family in preventing drug addiction?
The truth is that now there are many effective methods of prevention and we should apply them in the right place and time. There is no question that the role of the family is priceless in children’s life, because parents are the biggest authorities for them. However giving children love and attention is not enough; you should give them your life experience. So, being a parent means making choices, sometimes very difficult ones, but we must never lose sight of what is important.

What should be in the Internet age and growth of online communities in-formational methods to combat drug addiction? What do you think, what means will be most effective today, and how the state should behave in order to successfully affect the suffering of drug addiction and to conduct prevention among healthy population?
There are many ways that could be implemented to prevent drug use among young people, but unfortunately not all of them are applied. We live in a virtual era, when everyone has an account in social networks, and use the Internet for most questions - either we want to meet a friend or find some information. Therefore I think that means of fight against drugs should also "move" to the place where young people spend time today.
