The use of drugs in Algeria has increased compared to previous years. This is especially the case in the Tamanrasset region bordering with Mali and Nigeria.
Our experience in the field of drug use demonstrates that the most effective way is to build active networks, integrate more associations and people who had not have any prior contact with the drugs department. We have opened a Facebook page, which has become quite popular and it inspired us into creating an Association against drug use. I believe that an important part of the modern society has to belong to the efforts of combating drug use, and the best way of doing so is the newest methods of risk reduction, such as online social networks.
