Doctors tend not to talk about "recovered drug addicts," and prefer the term "inactive addicts" those who dont use drugs right at given moment. In your opinion, is it not possible to get rid of this label? Even in the opinion of drug treatment experts, patients remain forever addicted. How can the modern society be taught to have an adequate attitude toward former drug addicts and consider them as a part of the society?
The best way we can treat a recovering addict is by the support and positive reinforcement to these individuals. It is hard for someone to take the steps to the road to recovery but the more that they have support from family friends and other recovering addicts the more I think that they will continue to stay off of drugs. If we do not continue to stay positive towards recovering drug addicts then it will make it that much harder for them to stay off of the substances they used to abuse. It is like anything else if you don't have support than it makes whatever you do that much harder.

In you opinion how important is parental education and relationships within the family in preventing drug addiction?
I believe that it is very important for parents to help their children understand the danger of drugs. I also feel that parents should teach their children as my parents taught me that if you choose to do drugs just think about what it could do to you and your life. That was something that stuck strong in my mind and has help me over the years to make the wise decisions I have to not do drugs when I have been face with the unfortunate opportunities to do all sorts of drugs. I also remembered when they were offered to me and that helped me decide to stay away from them. So, the fight against drugs and drug addiction starts at home.

What should be in the Internet age and growth of online communities informational methods to combat drug addiction? What do you think, what means will be most effective today, and how the state should behave in order to successfully affect the suffering of drug addiction and to conduct prevention among healthy population?
This is a hard but good question. The internet should be regulated very strictly. I can't tell you how many times a day I see on facebook, twitter, myspace and many other social media sites people boasting about their drug use. I find that a lot of them are teenage citizens from around the world. The only way we can really combat this is to have a strong family structure at home that is teaching their children that these stories they read online are not funny or amusing but they should be treated more like cries for help. Now I think that as far as on a state level if addicts willingly step into a program of rehabilitation then the state should do their best to help that person to get away from the addiction that is plaguing their life. This is something that will also help the amount of crime we encounter. Addiction is proven to cause people to commit crimes that they normally would not even think of if they were sober. I think that with a combination of good family values and teaching, a strong support structure by state and then a strict drug regulation on the internet of people openly talking about drugs we will have a much better community that won't find in glorification in drugs.
